And onward to march

I disappeared for a little while there.  I’ve been busy working on a variety of little projects.  First, I started remaking geektyme.org using drupal, there was a bit of activity on it initially but that seems to have slowly died out.  I need to find a way to get people motivated to help me build it into something useful.  I’ve also been working on building a website for my friends band (which is also a project for my IST 440W class) which is currently set up at theory.geektyme.org – I still have a lot of work to do there.  It’s built using CSS and XHTML, with a PHP/MySQL backend.  Other than that I’ve been doing the whole looking for a job thing, trying to figure out what DISA-FSO (where I have my current co-op position) is going to offer me, all of that fun stuff.

I also have gotten the urge for a MacBook Pro so bad that I found a website that supposedly you can get a free macbook, but of course it requires that I refer 20 other people who then have to complete one of the “offers”.  Some of them are free, but I have a feeling I won’t be seeing a MacBook Pro on my doorstep anytime soon ;)

Other than that life has been pretty uneventful.  I might go home to Chambersburg this weekend, and probably next weekend too, but I haven’t made any final decisions on that.  Anyways, back to the grind.
